Overview
The European Industrials Investment Banking group at Cantor Fitzgerald in London is a newly formed team, started only 1 year ago, with Europe only 3 months ago, and is part of a larger 25–30-man team based out of Chicago and New York.
We are seeking an Analyst to join our Investment Banking team.
As an Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting senior bankers and clients across Investment Banking Products (M&A, ECM, DCM etc.) and the below subsectors:
Key responsibilities
- Conducting independent research and gathering information from publicly available and internal sources.
- Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and participate in meetings.
- Provide specified input for company profiles, presentations and other documents to support senior team members.
- Contribute to the development and basic editing of Excel-based models, including valuations and other financial analysis; update team credentials and related materials.
- Provide support for various administrative tasks.
Skills and attributes
- Experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields
- Very strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Diligent and committed to excellence.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail and good organisation skills.
- Ambitious, driven and capable of delivering results while working under tight deadlines.
- Second language preferred
- Entrepreneurial and self-starter
- Industrials sector experience preferred (sub-sector agnostic)
