Are you an experienced Azure, M365 or Infrastructure specialist who enjoys delivering complex technical projects rather than BAU support?
As a Technical Delivery Specialist at Cantium, you'll lead the implementation of enterprise-scale Microsoft cloud and infrastructure solutions, working on high-profile projects that support public sector organisations across the UK.
You'll act as a technical lead, partnering with Solution Architects, Project Managers and customers to deliver secure, scalable and innovative technology solutions.
This role would suit a Senior Azure Engineer, Senior M365 Engineer, Infrastructure Specialist, Cloud Specialist or Senior Systems Administrator looking to take ownership of technical delivery while mentoring others and influencing technical direction.

You'll be a trusted technical expert, helping shape delivery approaches and supporting the development of others within the team.
- What you'll be doing
- Leading the technical delivery of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and hybrid infrastructure projects.
- Designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud and on-premise solutions.
- Working closely with Solution Architects, Project Managers and stakeholders to deliver project outcomes.
- Providing technical leadership and subject matter expertise across project teams.
- Supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of complex technical workstreams.
- Producing and maintaining technical documentation including technical designs, work packages and change requests.
- Managing technical risks, dependencies and issues throughout project lifecycles.
- Supporting governance and assurance activities to ensure solutions are fit for purpose.
- Investigating and resolving complex technical challenges and escalations.
- Collaborating with operational teams to ensure successful handover into support services.
- Mentoring and developing colleagues through knowledge sharing and technical guidance.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and the ongoing development of delivery standards.
- Maintaining awareness of emerging technologies and industry best practice.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in a senior technical delivery, cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering or technical consultancy role.
- Strong Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 implementation experience.
- Experience delivering complex technical projects within enterprise environments.
- The ability to work effectively with Project Managers and Solution Architects to deliver technical outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of cloud, infrastructure and enterprise technologies.
- Experience designing, implementing and supporting integrated technology solutions.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and project deliverables simultaneously.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience producing technical designs and implementation documentation.
- Coaching, mentoring and knowledge-sharing capabilities.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Relevant Microsoft, Azure or ITIL certifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
