Job Summary:
As the Head of Visitor Services and Estates, you will lead and develop teams to deliver outstanding estate operations and exceptional visitor experiences. Your role will focus on operational excellence and strategic development, continuously improving our services across the Estates and Rare Breeds Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Manage Estates and RBC Teams, fostering excellence and continuous improvement.
- Visitor Operations: Ensure a welcoming, safe customer experience and plan annual events.
- Estate Management: Oversee effective hard and soft facilities maintenance and upkeep of the estate, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, approve expenditures, and maximize income from retail and catering.
- Health & Safety: Maintain a safe environment, oversee animal welfare and vehicle fleet maintenance.
Skills And Experience:
- Experience in operational management within leisure, hospitality, or heritage sectors.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent financial management and budgeting skills.
- Commitment to sustainability and inclusivity.
- Clean driving licence and ability to work ad hoc weekends.
