A fantastic opportunity in Canterbury, Kent. Are you someone who understands the importance of good quality, reliable data? Canterbury City Council are seeking an experienced Assets Data Analyst and Coordinator to join our Facilities Management team.

You will be responsible for a wide range of asset data and linking it through different services to ensure our data stays current, accurate, and embedded in the heart of the decisions we make for our social houses and other assets. As an Assets Data Analyst and Coordinator, you will enjoy working with diverse teams on different projects, from energy efficiency improvements to health and safety. You will use data interrogation and manipulation skills, reports and dashboards in your work as a valued member of the Strategic Assets team.

Responsibilities:
  • You will ensure all property and asset data within the FM Service is consistent and on a uniform, agreed recording hierarchy.
  • You will analyse and coordinate multi-faceted data across systems and assimilation of data for reports on our owned assets, both housing and operational.
  • You will deliver reports and process mapping of procedures and systems across the service to input into strategies supporting asset management of our stock.
  • You will be the key service specialist in the development and implementation of new systems and modules to support and improve the management of stock data information.
  • You will provide an overview function to ensure all users of the asset management systems are correctly and appropriately using the system, and all information is being updated correctly.
  • Curating of data systems used by the service and engaging with the wider teams cross-services as required.
