Join our successful NIHR funded Global Health Research Group on Digital Diagnostics for African Health Systems and lead and manage high quality, impactful research and engagement in Digital Global Health.
As a Senior Research Fellow in Digital Global Health you will play an active and key role in the delivery of high quality and impactful research, enterprise and innovation in the field, through interdisciplinary and mixed methods approaches. You will support the University&s goals in driving research development and enhancing research capacity locally and globally. You will have a PhD in global health or a related area, with deep knowledge and experience in conducting research in African settings. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills and be an effective and collaborative member of a diverse and exciting team. Your job will involve regular engagement with partners across the UK, EU and Africa and frequent travel across these and other settings.
How will you work?
We are committed to supporting flexible methods of working wherever possible and this role is a Flexible and connected (Academic & Student Facing) role. Campus attendance will vary on a day-to-day basis and across the year but must purposefully align to the service being delivered and to the needs of our students, staff, and stakeholders. Though with flexibility, it is expected that a majority of your working time (at least 3 days per week) will be spent on campus, unless you are travelling nationally or internationally for work purposes.
