Join our Course Management team and play a key role in shaping a bold new vision for student support. Your leadership will make a real impact in a vibrant, student-centred community.

As Course Manager, you will lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional course administration and student support. From resolving complex student cases to coordinating key services like attendance, safeguarding, and communications, you will ensure smooth delivery across a range of courses. Acting as a key link between academic teams and commercial partners, you will drive service improvements, support new course development, and shape policy and processes. You will also oversee specialist areas including apprenticeships, research students, short courses, and partnership courses like the Police Education Consortium.

As a Course Manager, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for the effective delivery of administrative support across a diverse portfolio of academic courses and partnership provision. To excel in this role, you will be an experienced manager with a strong background in student services or academic administration. You will be solutions-focused, highly organised, and passionate about driving continuous improvement while delivering excellent customer service to both staff and students.

You will be degree-qualified or hold equivalent professional experience, with substantial expertise in higher education administration and student records systems. Demonstrable leadership and line management skills, alongside a solid understanding of policy and compliance within the Higher Education sector, are essential. You will be comfortable working strategically and operationally, with strong communication abilities, digital literacy, and a proven capacity to manage change effectively.

We work in a hybrid way that ensures we are flexible to both business and individual needs and remain connected to each other and our campuses. In practice, this means a mix of days working in Canterbury alongside the flexible choice of working from home if that suits you. Occasionally, you may attend one of our other campuses.
