Background

The Student Governance Team, within the Academic Registry, enhances the student experience and supports continuous improvement across the University by maintaining clear and transparent policies across key student‑facing processes, including Student Complaints, Academic Appeals, Student Conduct, Academic Misconduct and Fitness to Practice. The Team conducts thorough and objective investigations to support fair, evidence‑based decision‑making and resolution. The Case Coordination Team is responsible for coordinating Academic Misconduct and Fitness to Practice, liaising with staff across the University and ensuring adherence to published service level agreements. The team also provides administrative support to the Case Handling and Investigations Teams, including arranging and supporting meetings and noting.

The Role

We are seeking an individual to join the Case Coordination Team as a Case Coordinator and Administrator. This role supports the University in meeting its regulatory responsibilities, upholding the highest standards of conduct, integrity and accountability.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • High‑standard administrative work ensuring the smooth and timely completion of tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and professional stakeholder liaison, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and recognise when to escalade.
  • Full training provided on University processes and systems.

How Will You Work?

The post holder is expected to work at least two days per week on campus, with those days determined by confirmed team working days. These days may change based on scheduled meetings that the post holder may need to support in person. We are committed to flexible working where possible.
