Canterbury Cathedral Lodge is a unique and contemporary hotel and conference venue situated in the inspirational grounds of Canterbury Cathedral in the heart of the city of Canterbury, Kent. The Lodge is renowned for stylish and comfortable hotel accommodation with stunning views of the cathedral and a superb conference venue for meetings, conferences, events, wedding receptions and Christmas parties.
Canterbury Cathedral Lodge is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and organised individual to join the busy team who look after the reception, providing a professional reception service to all callers and visitors to the Lodge. This is a fixed-term position (maternity cover) working 2 days out of 7.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Taking and confirming reservations.
- Dealing with guest billing and handling payments.
- Operating the switchboard.
- Generally assisting guests to ensure that they are made to feel welcome at all times.
Flexibility is key for this role as shifts can vary between 7:30am and 11:00pm, seven days per week.
