Were looking for a proactive, friendly and adaptable General Assistant to primarily support our Housekeeping team, but also working with our Catering, Kitchen and Reception teams across the Cathedral Precincts.
What You'll Be Doing as a General Assistant
Day-to-day tasks include but are not limited to:
- Preparing bedrooms for guests
- Cleaning public areas of the hotel
- Ensuring both internal and external Cathedral areas are clean, tidy and ready for visitors
- Ensuring offices are clean and rubbish free
- Supporting other areas of the Lodge and Cathedral as and when required
What Were Looking For in a General Assistant
- Aged 18+
- Experience in a similar role
- Confident using a till, with cash handling experience
- Smart, polite, organised and great with people
- Flexible and happy to work across different departments
- Enthusiasm for the mission and values of the Cathedral
Desirable: Food Hygiene Certificate or First Aid training.
This is a fixed term Contract role, starting on 1st November 2026 and terminating on 31st January 2027
