Governance and Risk Manager
Cantello Tayler Recruitment are recruiting for a proactive and detail-oriented Governance and Risk Manager to join our client based in Windsor. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in strengthening their governance, compliance, and risk management practices across the business.

The Governance and Risk Manager responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure they operate to the highest standards of integrity and accountability
- Supporting the development and implementation of strong governance and risk management frameworks.
- Acting as the company\’s Data Protection Officer (DPO), ensuring compliance with data protection laws and promoting best practice in privacy and information security.
- Managing company secretarial duties, maintaining statutory records, and ensuring timely filings.
- Overseeing insurance and risk management processes, including renewals, claims, and liaising with insurers and brokers.
- Assisting with contract management and maintaining accurate business records.
- Helping to build and lead a small team focused on governance, compliance, and risk.
The Governance and Risk Manager skills and experience:
- Previous experience in governance, compliance, or risk management.
- Understands UK GDPR and data protection principles.
- Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Works well independently and enjoys collaborating with colleagues at all levels.
- Brings a positive, professional, and solutions-focused approach to their work.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. ICSA/CGI, risk or data protection certification) are desirable
