Our client is a well-established timber and building supplies business based in Rolleston. This is a great opportunity to join a professional, well-run operation, alongside a supportive and approachable team.
The Opportunity
They are looking for a reliable Trade Support superstar to assist with day-to-day yard and order fulfilment operations. This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety and opportunity to upskill.
Key Responsibilities
- Class 1 drop offs - sometimes required driving with a trailer and manual transmission
- Making up and picking timber orders accurately
- Assisting customers via the drive-through when required
- Supporting deliveries and loading/unloading trucks
- Operating a forklift
- General yard and trade support duties
- Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
What We're Looking For
- Forklift licence with F endorsement and OSH
- Full Class 1 licence (manual driving knowledge beneficial)
- Confident backing trailers
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting up to 20kg
- Some timber or building supplies knowledge preferred
- Good time management and ability to juggle varied tasks
- Willingness to learn, upskill, and be part of a team
What's On Offer
- Monday - Friday between 7:00am to 5:00pm
- Competitive pay rate of $26-$27 per hour
