Our Client, Davin Industries is looking for an experienced Welder / Light Fabricator to join their growing team in Christchurch. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of fabrication projects, including specialized military products, within a well-established and innovative manufacturing environment. We are seeking someone with strong welding and fabrication experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working within a supportive team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Light fabrication and welding work across a range of products
- Working with:
- Duplex steel up to 6mm
- Aluminium up to 6mm
- Stainless steel up to 3mm
- Reading and interpreting drawings
- Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
- Collaborating with the wider production team
What We're Looking For
- Previous welding and fabrication experience
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Reliable with a positive attitude
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Strong Mig and Tig welding experience
Welding certificates are advantageous, however for the right applicant Davin can support and assist with obtaining certifications.
