Our client Davin Industries is a recognised industry leader in precision sheet metal fabrication and contract batch manufacturing. They are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join their newly established night shift team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced sheet metal fabrication environment, operating modern TRUMPF machinery while becoming part of a skilled and supportive manufacturing team.
About the Role
You will be responsible for operating and monitoring TRUMPF turret/laser machinery to produce high-quality sheet metal components to specification. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read technical drawings, Monitor & Operate machinery and a commitment to working safely and efficiently to meet production deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and set up TRUMPF turret/laser machinery
- Read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications
- Monitor machine performance
- Carry out quality checks on finished components
- Ensure production targets and deadlines are met
- Troubleshoot minor machine and production issues
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work independently and as part of a team
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience operating turret, laser or similar CNC machinery
- Experience with TRUMPF machinery is highly advantageous
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good problem-solving skills
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment
- A strong commitment to health and safety
Shift Hours
- Night Shift: Midnight - 8am (Approx)
