We're looking for a reliable and motivated Stores Person / Stores Assistant to join a busy manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in ensuring production runs smoothly by accurately managing stock and materials in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team with full training provided.

About the Role

Working within the stores department, you'll be responsible for accurately handling stock, operating digital systems, and ensuring materials are available and accurate in the system. This role requires someone who is organised, physically fit, and able to communicate effectively with colleagues across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Picking and issuing materials for production
  • Operating digital scales and barcode scanning systems
  • Receiving and storing incoming stock
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Assisting with stock control and general stores duties
  • Working to daily production and dispatch targets
  • Following workplace health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

  • Previous stores, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 15kg
  • Confident using computers and learning digital systems
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Reliable, motivated, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • A current forklift licence is advantageous but not essential

Hours: 6am-3:30pm

For the remainder of this month: Monday to Thursday - 10-hour days

From next month onwards: Monday to Thursday - 9-hour days, Friday - 4-hour day
