Stores Person / Box Builder in Canterbury

Are you hands-on, reliable, and confident using power tools? Our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Middleton, is looking for a motivated Stores Person / Box Builder to join their team.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll split your time between building timber boxes and crates for products and supporting the stores team with general warehouse duties. Full training will be provided, so we're looking for someone with the right attitude more than direct experience.
About the Role
This is a practical, physical role suited to someone who enjoys staying busy and being part of a supportive team. You'll be happy to jump between departments as needed, assisting in stores one day and building timber crates the next.

What You'll Be Doing

• Building timber boxes and crates using power tools
• Measuring and assembling timber components
• Supporting the stores team with general warehouse duties
• Picking, packing, and moving stock as required
• Assisting with loading and unloading materials
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment
• Working alongside the team to keep production running smoothly

What We're Looking For

• Experience using power tools is essential
• Previous experience in timber work, construction, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on role is highly regarded
• Happy to work across both box building and stores
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work hard
• Positive attitude and eager to learn
• Able to work well both independently and as part of a team

What's On Offer

• $27-$28 per hour, depending on experience
• Full-time, ongoing position
• Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
