General Labourer – Immediate Start
Location: Middleton, Christchurch
Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:30pm
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Our client is looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join their busy foundry team in Middleton for an immediate start. This is a hands-on role working across multiple departments, with the primary responsibility of operating a friction saw to break up re-melt spills from the foundry. Some work will be completed outdoors, so you'll need to be comfortable working in varying conditions.
About the Role:- Operate a friction saw to process re-melt spills
- Carry out general labouring duties across various departments
- Assist with workshop and production tasks as required
- Safely use hand and power tools
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Physically fit and capable of performing labour-intensive work
- Previous experience using hand and power tools is an advantage
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Able to follow health and safety procedures
- Available to start immediately
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Starting from $25.00 per hour
- Immediate start available
- Initial assignment of approximately two weeks, with the potential to be extended for the right person
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
- Provide valid photo identification
