About the Role

This is a hands-on timber processing role working as part of a Dry Table team, processing and preparing kiln-dried timber.

The Dry Table team typically consists of 4-6 team members .

The team leader is responsible for grading the timber, while other team members are responsible for pulling, stacking, and banding timber packs.

This is a physically demanding role that requires good fitness, stamina, reliability, and a strong willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pull, stack, and band kiln-dried timber
  • Work as part of a 4-6 person Dry Table team
  • Assist with processing and handling timber efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized work area
  • Follow instructions from the Site Manager
  • Complete other general duties around the site as required
  • Treat all machinery, plant, and equipment with care
  • Communicate and cooperate effectively with other team members

  • Be reliable and punctual

  • Have good stamina and be comfortable standing and working for extended periods
