We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our clients sawmill operations team in a hands-on timber processing role. This position is ideal for someone who is physically fit, hardworking, and willing to learn new skills within the timber industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sorting, handling, and positioning finished green sawn timber along the production line
- Assisting with docking and trimming processes prior to sawmill outfeed
- Performing general manual labour and production support duties
- Maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
- Potential forklift operation and related material handling tasks (training may be provided)
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good level of physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive manual tasks
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Forklift experience or licence is an advantage but not essential
- Reliable transport
