We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Production Labourer to join our team. This role involves the safe handling and mixing of chemicals, requiring a high level of attention to detail and strict adherence to workplace procedures.

Our client is 100% New Zealand owned, specialising in the independent manufacturing of quality detergents and sanitisers for the Dairy, Hospitality, Food Processing and Farm Retail markets in New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mixing chemicals according to specified formulations and instructions
  • Reading and following work orders and safety procedures accurately
  • Handling acids, alkalis, and other chemicals safely
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Ensuring a clean and safe work environment at all times

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
  • Understanding of the hazards associated with chemical handling, including the risks of mixing incompatible substances
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting containers weighing up to 30kg
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment where wet conditions may be present due to regular washdowns
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently

  • Ability to work between 7am-5pm Monday-Friday
  • Willingness to learn
  • Comfortable with physical production work
  • Reliable transport
