Currently looking for experienced Press Brake and Haegar Operator to join our afternoon or day shift team. This is a great opportunity to work with a well-established sheet metal fabrication company and be part of a supportive and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Shift Hours: Monday to Friday 3:40pm - 11:45pm, 7:30am - 3:40pm. Training commences on days initially.
About the Role: You will be responsible for operating both the press brake and haegar machinery to fabricate sheet metal components to specification. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and a commitment to producing high-quality work safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate press brake and haegar machinery safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications
- Carry out quality checks on finished products
- Work independently and within a team to meet production deadlines
- Troubleshoot minor machine or production issues as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Press Brake and/or Haegar Operator or in a similar manufacturing role
- Experience setting up and operating Press Brake and/or Haeger insertion machines
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable with a good work ethic
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Strong problem-solving skills
