Powder Coating Assistant
Davin Industries is a well-established New Zealand manufacturer known for producing high-quality engineering and fabrication solutions. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Powder Coating Assistant to join our busy production team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a long-term career within a supportive manufacturing environment.
About the Role
Working alongside experienced powder coaters, you'll assist with preparing, coating, and finishing a variety of metal components while ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the process.
This is a physically active role suited to someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing metal products for powder coating
- Hanging and removing parts from the coating line
- Masking components where required
- Assisting with powder coating operations
- Inspecting finished products for quality
- Packing completed products ready for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Assisting with general production duties as required
What We're Looking For
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred
- Powder coating experience is an advantage but not essential
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Able to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
