Are you an experienced Powder Coater who takes pride in delivering a high-quality finish? We're looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join a busy manufacturing team producing quality fabricated metal products.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a full-time, long-term role with a well-established Christchurch manufacturer that values quality workmanship, teamwork, and reliability.

- $26-$32 per hour, depending on experience
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
- Friday: 7:00am - 1:00pm (start your weekend early!)

As a Powder Coater, you'll play an important part in the production process, ensuring fabricated components receive a durable, high-quality finish before being delivered to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing metal products for powder coating, including cleaning, masking, and hanging components
- Applying powder coatings using electrostatic spray equipment
- Operating curing ovens and monitoring coating quality
- Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Identifying and rectifying coating defects where required
- Maintaining equipment and keeping the powder coating area clean and organised
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Working closely with the production team to meet daily production targets
- Previous powder coating experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality finishes
- The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Good physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced workshop
