About the Role
We are looking for reliable and hardworking person to join our manufacturing client in Wigram.
This is a hands-on production role within a cardboard packaging environment. The position involves manually stripping excess cardboard and waste material from die-cut cardboard pieces, followed by stacking and counting finished product.
Key Responsibilities
- Manually strip and remove excess cardboard from die-cut parts.
- Separate cardboard pieces from the surrounding waste material.
- Stack finished cardboard products neatly and safely.
- Count and check quantities to ensure orders are accurate.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Follow production instructions and quality requirements.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Perform repetitive manual tasks throughout the working day.
What We're Looking For
- Reliable and punctual.
- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual work.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods.
- Able to perform detailed, repetitive tasks accurately.
- Able to count accurately and maintain good attention to detail.
- A team player with a positive attitude.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Previous factory, manufacturing, packaging or production experience is an advantage, but training can be provided.
What We Offer
- $24.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Stable daytime working hours.
- Full training provided.
