ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client, a leading manufacturer of timber frame and truss products, is looking for a motivated and reliable Fabricator to join their Rolleston team. This role involves assembling frames and trusses to precise measurements, working with a close-knit crew in a busy production environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble timber frames and trusses according to plans and specifications
  • Operate saws, nail guns, and other workshop tools
  • Measure, cut, and check timber for quality and accuracy
  • Work to daily production targets and deadlines
  • Maintain a safe and tidy workspace

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Previous experience in frame and truss manufacturing, Hammer hand or carpentry work (preferred, but not essential)
  • Ability to read and follow technical plans or diagrams
  • Good hand-eye coordination and practical skills
  • Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual work
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player
