ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client, a leading manufacturer of timber frame and truss products, is looking for a motivated and reliable Fabricator to join their Rolleston team. This role involves assembling frames and trusses to precise measurements, working with a close-knit crew in a busy production environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble timber frames and trusses according to plans and specifications
- Operate saws, nail guns, and other workshop tools
- Measure, cut, and check timber for quality and accuracy
- Work to daily production targets and deadlines
- Maintain a safe and tidy workspace
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous experience in frame and truss manufacturing, Hammer hand or carpentry work (preferred, but not essential)
- Ability to read and follow technical plans or diagrams
- Good hand-eye coordination and practical skills
- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual work
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
