Frame & Truss Fabricator / Remedial Builder
Looking for a role where no two days are the same? We're on the hunt for a skilled Frame & Truss Fabricator / Qualified Builder to join the team in a dynamic, hands-on position combining workshop fabrication with onsite remedial building work.

�� What's involved?
Frame & Truss Fabrication
- Cutting framing components, including plates, studs, beams, nogs, and door and window components.
- Fabricating wall frames using nail guns, mechanical nailing machines, or hand tools.
- Cutting and assembling roof trusses, including cords, webs, rafters, and associated components.
- Setting up and operating hydraulic, pneumatic, or manual press systems for trusses and posi-struts.
- Checking drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality.
Onsite Remedial Building
- Travelling to sites in a company vehicle to carry out remedial work as directed by the Head Detailer or Production Manager.
- Completing remedial building work in accordance with New Zealand building standards.
- Transporting additional timber frames and trusses to site as required.
- Working alongside builders and site contacts to get the job done right.
- Maintaining high health and safety standards on every site.
✅ What we're looking for
- Previous experience in frame and truss fabrication.
- Residential construction experience.
- A fully qualified builder.
- A current Site Safe passport (we can help you obtain one if needed).
- A full Class 1 driver's licence.
- Strong communication, listening, and written skills.
- A reliable, detail-oriented attitude and the ability to work unsupervised.
- A forklift licence is an advantage, but not essential.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
