Our client, a leading manufacturing company based in Christchurch is after a superstar to join their Material supply department.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Working in an industrial environment based in the Material Supply department, you will be required to weigh and organize various metals that will be used in the next stages of production. Our client manufactures Brass components for machinery which is exported overseas. This department is the first step of production, attention to details is essential.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Power Tool Operation
- Manual Handling
- Machine Operation - Hydraulic press, bailing machine
- Forklift Operation at times no experienced required in house training provided)
- weighing, noting and organization.
- Weekend work required, as per roster received.
4 days off 4 days on Roster
Nights 5am - 5pm

- Reliable Transport
- Basic math's ability and attention to detail
- Physically fit as heavy lifting is required
- Initiative and good attitude
- Basic computer knowledge
- Willingness to learn and understand the business
- Reliability and punctual candidates
- Previous industrial/manufacturing/engineering experience.
