Our client is on the lookout for a Class 2 Driver to join their hardworking hydro-excavation crew in Christchurch. If you’ve got solid driving experience and a great attitude, this is your opportunity to step into a role with hands-on work and ongoing development.
About the Role:
- You’ll be operating a hydro-excavation truck, assisting with digging and locating underground services.
- The role is physically demanding and ideal for someone who’s keen to get stuck in and be an active part of the team.
- Previous hydro-excavation experience is a bonus—but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate a Class 2 hydro-excavation truck.
- Assist with site work, including digging and clean-up.
- Perform physical labour and support the crew on-site.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Maintain and clean equipment as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current Class 2 licence with strong driving experience.
- Physically fit and happy to perform manual labour.
- Previous hydro-excavation experience is helpful but not required.
- A reliable team player with a can-do attitude.
- Good communication skills and a focus on safety.
