We have a great opportunity for a skilled labourer to join a well-established fabrication company based in Hornby.
This role would suit someone with previous workshop or hand and power tool experience who is looking to build on their existing skills, learn new techniques, and develop a career in fabrication.
For the right person, there is potential for this role to develop into a welding and fabrication pathway, with training and opportunities to progress.
The Role Working alongside an experienced fabrication team, you will be involved in preparing and assembling components for a range of projects.
Your duties will include:
- Cutting and preparing pipes
- Drilling and tapping holes
- Deburring profile-cut parts
- Folding and forming products
- Tacking assemblies
- Tidying and finishing completed parts
- General workshop and fabrication duties
- Operating a bandsaw and drill press
About You
- Has previous experience using hand and power tools
- Has a practical, hands-on approach
- Is keen to learn and develop new skills
- Has good attention to detail
- Can follow instructions and work from measurements
- Takes pride in producing quality work
- Is reliable and hardworking
- Works well as part of a team
Bandsaw and drill press experience would be beneficial, but training can be provided for the right candidate.

- Hours between 7:00am – 5:00pm
- Starting rate dependent on skills and experience
