Regional Director – Complex Environments - Facilities Management

Are you an accomplished operational leader with a track record of delivering Facilities Management services across complex, critical and highly regulated environments?

We have been retained by a leading Global Facilities Management provider to appoint a

Regional Director to oversee a significant portfolio of technically demanding contracts across sectors including healthcare, life sciences, critical infrastructure, defence, manufacturing and other mission-critical environments.

This is a high-profile leadership role with full operational and commercial accountability for a multi-million-pound regional business, leading a team of senior operational leaders while driving performance, customer satisfaction and sustainable growth.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the board, you will be responsible for

  • Leading a diverse portfolio of complex FM contracts across multiple locations.
  • Full P&L accountability for a significant regional business.
  • Developing and leading high-performing teams through Regional and Account Directors.
  • Building strategic relationships with executive-level client stakeholders.
  • Driving operational excellence, compliance, safety and governance across highly regulated environments.
  • Identifying opportunities for growth, innovation and service improvement.
  • Supporting business development, contract mobilisations and strategic bids.
  • Embedding a culture of continuous improvement, customer focus and commercial performance.

About You

We're looking for an inspirational senior leader who can demonstrate

  • A proven background in senior operational leadership within Facilities Management.
  • Experience managing technically complex or highly regulated environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen with significant P&L responsibility.
  • The ability to influence and engage executive-level stakeholders.
  • A track record of leading large, geographically dispersed operational teams.
  • Experience delivering both hard and integrated FM services.
  • A collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing people and building high-performing teams.

Experience within sectors such as healthcare, defence, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, data centres, manufacturing, utilities or critical infrastructure would be highly advantageous.
