A PMO Analyst is required to join the PMO Team within the wider Group Change Team. The Change Team is responsible for coordinating, monitoring and executing a clearly defined Business Change Programme that works in alignment with the strategic goals and objectives of the business.
Reporting into the PMO Manager, the main responsibilities for the PMO Analyst will be:
- Oversight and creation of reporting across multiple stakeholders and groups
- Enforcement of methodology, governance and process across the Change projects and wider portfolio
- Continuous improvement of project methodology, templates and processes
- Risk and Issue update and management in partnership with PMs
- Quality assurance reviews of project documentation, including Steering Group packs, Business Cases and PIDs
- Co-ordination between PMs and Resource Manager for resource planning across One Delivery
- Train, guide and assist Project Teams in the Change processes and documentation
- Track the status of Change projects within the portfolio
- Carry out project healthchecks and stage gate reviews across projects
- Assist PMs with maintenance of project plans
- Management of dependencies across Change and IT projects
- Management of the EPM tool used across Canopius
- Work alongside Senior PMO Analyst and PMO Manager on Portfolio planning
- Ensure projects are identifying and tracking benefits within EPM tool
- Work with PMO Manager to highlight any emerging risks or issues across projects or resources
- Work closely with COO teams and the Strategy and Planning Office to ensure one source of truth is reflected in the EPM tool
- Super User on EPM tool, with responsibilities such as onboarding and training new users, answering queries and creating dashboards in PowerBI
- Feed into PMO handbook, as processes evolve and change
- Work with Senior PMO Analyst to update Portfolio plan
Skills and Experience:
- Experience of working at EPMO and project level
- Good numerical skills
- Insurance experience preferred, but not essential
- Good understanding of waterfall and agile methodologies
- Experience of project planning
- Good communication skills
- Flexible in approach to work
- Experience of project related tools (PowerPoint, Excel, MS Planner)
- PowerBI experience preferred but not essential
- Experience of system administrator role on EPM tool highly desirable
