Canopius, a leading B2B insurance company, is looking for a Marketing Executive to join their team as it builds out its digital capabilities. As a Marketing Executive, you will help craft and execute comprehensive digital marketing plans that enhance our online footprint, elevate brand recognition, and funnel traffic to the website.

A significant portion of your role is dedicated to web management—curating and overseeing online content, refreshing product catalogues and search terms, all while harnessing the power of Google Analytics to decode online customer behaviour and fine-tune our website for peak performance.

Your expertise will extend into the realms of SEO and PPC, where you’ll work with the team and our expert partners to sharpen the business’ websites search engine presence and fuel web traffic, in addition to orchestrating and analysing activity.

You’ll spearhead innovative digital campaigns across various platforms, including social media, email marketing, and other paid media avenues such as display advertising. The Canopius Marketing & Communications team is dynamic and is looking for a confident, highly organised team player who can support with creative and digital skills, communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, expert partners and wider MarComms colleagues, and manage competing deadlines across campaigns, website updates, events and reporting activities.

Responsibilities
  • Develop digital marketing plans that build lasting connections with target audiences
  • Support paid search, paid social and other digital campaigns, optimising spend, performance and brand awareness
  • Manage day-to-day SEO activity and website updates
  • Manage webinar, email and online event activity, including client invites and participation tracking
  • Contribute creative ideas for content marketing, website enhancements and improved user experience
  • Measure and report on digital marketing performance, interpreting analytics and engagement data to turn insights into practical improvements
  • Align activity with business targets and campaign forecasts, working with other members of the Marcomms team to maximise content and ensure cohesion
  • Use AI to find efficiencies in our digital marketing practices
  • Work confidently with internal stakeholders, expert partners and external digital marketing agencies to identify opportunities and improve performance
Qualifications
  • Experience in a Digital Marketing Executive or similar role, ideally within a B2B environment
  • Practical experience across social media, email campaigns, SEO/SEM and Google Ads
  • Confident managing websites and CMS platforms, with working knowledge of HTML, CSS, web analytics and ad serving tools
  • Strong creative content writing skills, with the ability to turn technical subjects into engaging marketing content
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines across campaigns, website updates, events and reporting activities while remaining curious, adaptable and eager to learn
  • Analytical mindset, with confidence interpreting performance data and using insights to improve campaign, content and website performance
