As a Digital Learning Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative digital and blended learning solutions for colleagues at Canopius. Embedded within the Talent and Culture and Systems team, you’ll collaborate closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders across the business, gaining exposure to a wide range of projects and development initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge authoring tools and AI-driven technologies, supporting both the design and delivery of engaging learning experiences. You’ll gain experience in digital content creation, programme design, and learning management system administration, while supporting strategic L&D initiatives and operational activities. Development routes include progression into senior instructional design, learning technology, or broader organisational development roles. Professional qualifications in digital learning or instructional design are supported, and you’ll work with stakeholders from HR, IT, and business leadership to deliver impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop digital learning content, including eLearning modules, videos, infographics, and micro-learning, using tools such as Canva or Articulate Storyline.
- Integrate AI-driven agents (e.g., chatbots, virtual assistants) to personalise and enhance the learner experience.
- Partner with subject matter experts to transform complex content into interactive, learner-centric solutions.
- Support the management and administration of the Oracle LMS, including enrolments, catalogue management, programme design, and reporting.
- Assist with L&D operational activities, such as scheduling training, evaluating learning programmes, and managing team queries.

- Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies and digital pedagogy.
