A technical Bordereaux specialist within the UK Operations team, reporting to Head of Credit Management, you will be the owner of all aspects of Bordereaux post processing into the BDX capture system, ensuring that processed data remains of the highest quality. You will be providing expert support to the Bordereaux Management team, by managing, analyzing, and reporting on bordereaux data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficient workflow for underwriting, premium, and claims transactions under delegated authority agreements.
Responsibilities
- Identify, analyse and manage the resolution of data quality issues arising from the Bordereaux process – outsourced to external party.
- Maintain ownership of the identification of data quality issues in line with Lloyd's standards.
- Engage directly with underwriters, brokers and coverholders / DCAs where necessary, ensuring robust communication with all stakeholders.
- Manage validations and data standards in line with Canopius Data Standards.
- Work with the Data Quality Team to ensure the data quality framework is maintained within the Bordereaux Management Function.
- Produce, monitor and complete Bordereaux processing monitoring and oversight of MI reports.
- Analyse/interpret and challenge the weekly and monthly Bordereaux processing statistics provided by the outsource team.
- Challenge and develop existing MI and reports to internal stakeholders, coverholders, brokers and DCAs to promptly notify relevant parties of any perceived new data quality shortfalls or issues.
- Maintain new and existing Intrali Bordereaux validations and mapping processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Enhance existing Bordereaux data quality procedures and implement additional controls / exception reporting to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Maintain the data controls documented within the Bordereaux Management Function and ensure they remain relevant and up to date with the Canopius Data Quality Framework.
Skills And Experience
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong technical knowledge of bordereaux analysis and management – Intrali knowledge is an advantage.
- Lloyd's and London Market experience across multiple business lines.
- Excellent communication skills across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI knowledge and skills in other Microsoft Office products to support MI and reporting.
- Knowledge of Lloyd's Delegated Authority business.
