This is an entry-level opportunity to join our Underwriting Operations team, supporting the smooth running of day-to-day underwriting processes. You’ll work closely with underwriters and business teams to help improve how we operate — making processes more efficient, reducing issues, and supporting the use of systems and tools. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, curious, and interested in how insurance underwriting works behind the scenes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting underwriting teams with day-to-day operational processes
- Assisting with the use and improvement of systems and tools used by the business
- Gathering information to help identify process improvements
- Helping document processes to ensure they are clear, consistent, and auditable
- Supporting small improvement initiatives, including tracking actions and timelines
- Responding to queries, issues, or bottlenecks and helping to resolve them
- Preparing materials and agendas for team and working group sessions
- Working with colleagues across different teams to support operational activities
