Bordereaux AnalystCompany: Canopius Group
As Bordereaux analyst, you will be responsible for the operational oversight of the outsource provider, assisting with query resolution arising from processing of the data files presented by third parties into the ViPR system. This role emphasizes data quality and accuracy and will also assist in the quality control of uploaded data and processes managed by the outsourced Bordereaux Processing Team.
Responsibilities
Act as a source of knowledge and point of query triage/resolution for in-house and outsourced team members, escalating to the Head of Underwriting Operations where applicable.
Assist with ensuring timely throughput, high quality and accuracy of data handled by outsourced bordereaux operations function.
Assist with development of the chosen bordereau management system Intrali.
Provide support to the Head of Underwriting Operations as required in matters relating to operational oversight of bordereaux processing.
Act as an Intrali SME for the CNP business.
Take responsibility for quality control, audit and query resolution arising from the bordereaux management process, including educating the outsourced team to reduce the number of queries raised where appropriate.
Produce, monitor and complete bordereaux processing monitoring and oversight MI reports.
Analyse/interpret and challenge weekly and monthly bordereaux processing statistics provided by the outsource team.
Assist in processing of bordereaux into Intrali.
Act as a contact to resolve any issues that prevent the processing of bordereaux within agreed timelines.
Maintain ownership of the identification of data quality issues in line with Lloyd\βs standards.
Liaise directly with Brokers and Coverholders to chase bordereaux, resolve queries and improve data quality, ensuring robust communication with Underwriting teams.
Support outsource provider in maintaining up-to-date accurate process and training documentation.
Challenge and develop existing MI and report to internal stakeholders, coverholders, brokers and TPAs to promptly notify relevant parties of any perceived new risks or failures.
Contribute to continuous improvement to streamline activities and drive best practice in bordereaux management.
Skills and Experience
Strong analytical skills.
Strong aptitude for data.
Good working knowledge of the VIPR β Intrali system.
Good knowledge of bordereaux data across a large number of different business lines and desire to understand the technicalities.
Excellent communication skills, delivering verbal and visual presentations to internal and external stakeholders including senior management.
Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge and skills in other Microsoft Office products to support MI and reporting.
Knowledge of Lloyd\βs Delegated Authority business.
Lloyds and London Market experience.
