As Product Sales & Business Development Specialist, you’ll take the lead in shaping the success for our video and PTZ portfolio to drive both B2C and B2B growth across multiple markets. This is more than a sales role; it’s your chance to influence strategy, steer market performance, and play a pivotal part in achieving ambitious revenue, market share, and profitability goals.

You’ll be at the centre of decision-making, partnering with cross-functional teams and acting as a key link between national sales organisations and internal stakeholders across Europe. The Product Business Development Specialist contributes actively to the achievement of our European product sales targets, market share and channel/account objectives through targeted tactical activity and effective use of resources, investments and tools.

  • Drives the commercial budget setting of relevant product group by country and optimises the product mix in line with strategy to maximise sales for video and PTZ products.
  • Develops and implements the commercial European Go-to-market strategy (Investment Strategy, Distribution strategy/SDA, where to play & how to play) in close collaboration with Product Management and Marketing and cascades to NSO as well as creates action plans and tactics (toolbox/playbook) to achieve targets.
  • Management of central product/channel partner and Marketing Investments (DOS/SGA).
  • Maximises product sales & Business Development through tracking of product and channel partner sales, supply/allocation strategies, analysing market trends and identifying new sales opportunities.
  • Analyses monthly sales forecast and performance and suggests corrective actions to achieve product sales budgets (Issue & Action management).
  • Communicates business performance to ITCG senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Is in daily contact with our European country sales organisations to organise and coordinate Business-plans, channel partner investment and Marketing activity plans and implements corrective actions.
  • Collects and co-ordinates local Marketing Plans and tracks progress against KPIs. Provides strategic input into central marketing planning process.
  • Travelling up to 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with Product Management, Sales, and Country Organisations in order to maximise overall product sales. Key interface between CEL and NSO teams with daily communication.
  • Key commercial interface between CEL and NSO teams with daily communication and business co-ordination.
  • Develop go-to-market strategy (where to play & how to play) and prepares investment & distribution/SDA strategy for relevant product group.
  • Create and negotiate budgets (sales targets) with relevant stakeholders and countries.
  • Implements budget directives according to the European commercial budgeting process and creates commercial toolbox/playbook to enable sales.
  • Allocates and manages central investment funds (DOS/SGA) to drive channel partner investments and marketing investments plans on pan-European level in order to achieve sales targets, tracks progress and implements corrective actions where appropriate.
  • Co-ordinates with other team members and functions to harmonise planning process and align with overall strategy.
  • Supports Senior Business Development Manager to analyse and achieve sales performance and monitor market shares.
  • Identifies business opportunities across Europe and supports NSO teams to convert into sales.
  • Teams-up with European Demand & Supply teams to steer demand on available products and set/review allocation strategies.
  • Analyses Monthly Sales Forecasts from NSO and validates with product management, finance and Business operations/EDSM.
  • Tracks sales target achievements and proposes corrective actions where required and co-ordinates requests and ad-hoc issues to improve the situation.
  • Ensures effectiveness and reproducibility of investments by reviewing plans and sharing best practices across EU18 countries.
  • Supports Marketing Planning process for relevant product group and inputs into strategic briefs.

Qualifications

  • Relevant Business Degree with proven experience in Product Management, Product Marketing or sales management.
  • High skills in marketing highly technical products in a B2C environment.
  • Strategic thinking, and able to translate into operational improvements.
  • Languages: English fluency essential, European languages desirable.
  • Significant sales development experience in consumer electronic organisation.
  • Experience of coaching and developing a virtual team, sharing best practice and knowledge transfer (multicultural environment would be a strong advantage).
