You will drive the development of a high-performing workforce by identifying and evolving critical capabilities that support strategic priorities, while translating enterprise-wide people and learning solutions into locally relevant, culturally aligned initiatives. Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on capability development, performance enablement, and talent growth, supporting succession planning and targeted development opportunities for employees identified through the talent management process.

Manage the planning and governance of the RSHQ learning portfolio and budget, ensuring resources are effectively allocated, aligned with business priorities, and optimised through collaboration with central Learning & Capability teams.
- Learning Delivery & Performance Enablement: Partner with EMEA Learning & Capability Development to implement and facilitate high-impact learning solutions across commercial, leadership, talent, and change capability areas, ensuring strong engagement, local relevance, and measurable behaviour change. Design and deliver targeted local learning interventions to address capability gaps not covered by central programmes, while fostering a culture of continuous, self-directed learning through the effective use of digital platforms and learning technologies.
- Governance, Operations & Continuous Improvement: Oversee the successful execution of local learning programmes, coordinating stakeholders, communications, logistics, and external learning partners to ensure alignment with Canon standards, governance requirements, and strategic priorities. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives through agreed metrics, stakeholder feedback, and business performance indicators, driving continuous improvement and demonstrating measurable impact on organisational capability and performance.
Success Measures
- Deliver strong adoption and measurable impact of both centrally led and locally developed learning initiatives, evidenced through improvements in learning outcomes, behaviour change, capability growth, and contribution to business performance.
- Achieve high levels of stakeholder satisfaction, effective budget management, increased engagement with digital learning solutions, and consistent compliance with Canon Learning & Capability standards and governance frameworks.
Qualifications
