b Overview /b p As a Field Service Engineer in Central London, you will service Canon Production equipment at customer sites, diagnosing faults and carrying out installation both on-site and remotely. You’ll minimise production downtime by delivering effective maintenance and repairs, while delivering excellent customer service. You will work within Canon’s inclusive culture, contributing to sustainability and personal growth, and engage with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth service delivery. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 from home) /li li flexible hours /li li 25 days holiday plus up to 5 days holiday purchase /li li competitive salary and pension /li li up to 38% discount on Canon products /li li on-site parking and good transport links /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li On-site service and repair to diagnose faults and provide solutions, aiming for high first-time fix rates /li li Install and configure new devices at customer premises and train users on setup and operation /li li Provide clear, proactive customer communication and escalate issues per process to minimise downtime /li li Manage parts: identify, order, and maintain stock to support uptime and cost control /li li Complete service reports and update job status in the field service management system; use ADAM for documentation /li li Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines and industry standards /li li Support continuous improvement through training, industry trends, and feedback to Service Manager /li li Participate in large complex installation projects when required /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Experience as a field service engineer or similar role /li li Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills /li li Good understanding of IT/networking for device connectivity /li li Desirable: experience in the print industry /li li Excellent communication and customer service skills /li li Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel /li li Awareness of health and safety guidelines and product safety checks /li li Desirable: Basic IT qualification; NVQ or equivalent in electrical and/or mechanical discipline /li li Knowledge of field service tools and systems (e.g., SAPO, ADAM) is advantageous /li /ul ul li Excellent communication /li li Customer-centric mindset /li li Ownership and accountability /li li Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting /li li IT networking basics for device connectivity /li li Remote monitoring and troubleshooting tools /li /ul
