Due to development and career advancement Canon UKis looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team in the North West. What we ask

We\’re looking for creative problem-solvers like you, someone who can ensure Canon stays ahead in an ever-changing world.

You need:

– Achieve a high first-time fix rate and minimum recalls with the most cost-effective use of labour time and parts.

– Ensure all post-sale field service requirements are met

– When required provide technical escalation support for colleagues

– Ensure all activities are recorded correctly in line with company guidelines

– Optimize the car-stock inventory and rotation, and balance this against return to fit (RTF) visits, as applicable.

– To provide customer product instruction and training

– Advise the customer when chargeable work is required and seek the required authorization prior to undertaking this activity

– Contribute to opportunities to improve maintenance and repair practices and modifications in the machine.

– Make frequent contributions to the on-going development of the team and overall service performance.

You will need

As a Canon Field service engineer, you will possess the following skills and expierence

– Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills (electrical/mechanical)
– A customer-first mindset and great communication skills
– Confidence using IT systems and managing your time effectively
– A proactive, self-motivated approach to learning and development
– Full UK driving licence
