We are hiring a Legal Manager to lead and manage debt recovery efforts through strategic litigation and enforcement actions. This role is ideal for legal professionals with in-depth experience in loan recovery under laws like SARFAESI, NI Act, and Arbitration frameworks. You’ll work closely with advocates, oversee litigation across regions, and drive outcomes for high-value non-performing assets (NPAs).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute legal strategies for loan recovery in accordance with SARFAESI Act, NI Act, Arbitration and Conciliation Act, CPC, and other relevant recovery laws.
- Represent the organization before courts, tribunals, and legal authorities.
- Coordinate with empaneled advocates nationwide by providing precise instructions and monitoring legal proceedings.
- Draft and review legal documentation such as demand notices, legal replies, petitions, plaints, affidavits, and other recovery-related materials to ensure legal integrity and compliance.
- Assess and manage high-risk/NPA accounts, recommending and implementing tailored legal solutions to maximize recoveries.
- Maintain and update a Legal Case Management System (MIS) for effective tracking.
- Prepare region-wise legal reports and case updates for senior management, ensuring transparency and performance analysis.
Qualifications & Skills
- Law degree (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized university.
- Strong expertise in debt recovery-related laws including SARFAESI, NI Act, Arbitration and Conciliation, and Civil/Criminal procedure.
