National Pension System Trust invites applications for the post of Senior Consultant (Legal – AIF).

Name of the Post: Senior Consultant (Legal – AIF)

Number of Post: 01 (One)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidate shall hold a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Master of Laws (LLM) degree.
  • The candidate should possess a minimum of 3 (three) years of experience in handling legal and regulatory matters in the field of Investment Banking / Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) / Private Equity / Private Debt / BFSI / Insurance / Pension Fund sector.
  • Maximum Age: 40 years.
  • Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Legal due diligence of AIFs and related investment activities.
  • Vetting and review of SOPs, MoUs, side letters and Contribution Agreements.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance under PFRDA, SEBI (AIF) Regulations and other applicable laws.
  • Handling legal queries, disputes and compliance reporting.
  • Any other activities as may be assigned from time to time.

Salary:

The person engaged to discharge responsibility as Senior Consultant (Legal – AIF) shall be entitled to fixed consolidated monthly payment of ₹2,25,000/-. The remuneration will be subjected to applicable tax deduction at source. Apart from initial remuneration offered, there would be provision for an annual increment in the compensation on successful completion of every 12 months during the period of contract including extension (if any), which shall be considered by the Trust based on the performance review.
