Samvād: Partners is hiring for experienced lawyers with 4+ years of post‑qualification experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, Venture Capital and General Corporate advisory. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both transactional and advisory work and advising both domestic and international clients.
Eligibility- India qualified lawyer enrolled with the Bar Council with 4+ years’ experience in corporate law focusing on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital and general corporate advisory
- LL.B. from a reputed institution (LL.M./ CS/ other qualifications are an advantage but not necessary)
- Prior experience with reputed law firms or multinational companies or other strong in‑house experience necessary
- Proficient in English
- Strong drafting and communication skills
- Strong client relationship skills
- Expertise in drafting and negotiation of transaction documents (SPAs, SHAs, SSAs, JVAs, etc.)
- Leading and managing due diligences
- Advise on general corporate matters
- Drafting and negotiating transaction documentation, end‑to‑end execution and management of transactions
- Structuring foreign investments and other transactions
- Leading and managing legal due diligences
- Managing client relationships and offering strategic legal advice
- Mentoring junior associates and contributing to the business development efforts of the firm
