About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Associate (Corporate Law) with 5–8 years of experience, preferably someone eager to take ownership of complex client matters across various domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and vet a range of legal documents, including Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs), Shareholders’ Agreements (SHAs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), vendor contracts, lease deeds, and trust deeds.
- Provide end-to-end management of client mandates with minimal supervision.
- Deliver crisp legal opinions and memos with clarity and confidence.
- Maintain strong communication with clients and internal partners.
Preferred Expertise
- Strong command of contract law, property law, Companies Act 2013, FEMA, and allied regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to simplify complex legal concepts into practical, business-friendly language.
- Experience in real estate due diligence, title searches, and regulatory compliance (e.g., Legal Metrology, FSSAI).
- Working knowledge of employment law matters such as terminations, employee benefits, and policy drafting.
- Court appearance experience, particularly before civil courts and the NCLT, is a plus.
- Exposure to pharmaceutical law or clients in the pharma industry will be considered a strong advantage.
