Role Overview
The selected candidate will manage the complete contract lifecycle—from drafting and redlining to negotiation and execution—while ensuring compliance with global data protection regulations. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, IT, and Finance to ensure business initiatives proceed in compliance with legal and privacy requirements.
Responsibilities
- Leading negotiations and drafting agreements such as:
- Master Services Agreements (MSAs)
- SaaS/Subscription Licenses
- Data Protection Agreements (DPAs)
- Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Vendor Contracts
- Advising on global privacy laws including GDPR, CCPA, and DPDPA
- Reviewing and modifying contractual templates to identify risks and ensure compliance
- Working cross‑functionally to streamline contract processes and ensure timely completion
- Drafting legal notices and counter‑notices
- Maintaining legal records and providing analytical support for business projects
Eligibility
Education: LL.B., LL.M., or B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)
Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience in a reputed law firm or as in‑house counsel
Strong exposure to software or digital industry contracts
Proven experience in GDPR, CCPA, and DPDPA compliance
CIPP certification will be an added advantage
