This position is offered under a research project titled “Reparations and Victim-Centred Justice under International Criminal Law,” funded by the Research Endeavour Grant (N-REG) 2025–26.

Position Overview: NLUD is inviting applications for the position of Research Associate on a full-time contractual basis. The selected candidate will assist the Project Director in conducting research related to reparations jurisprudence and victim-centred justice within the framework of international criminal law.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Project Director in research related to international criminal law
  • Conducting research on substantive and procedural aspects of international criminal law
  • Supporting analysis and documentation related to reparations jurisprudence
  • Assisting in preparing research outputs, reports, and academic materials related to the project

Eligibility:

  • Law graduate (LL.B. or B.A. LL.B.) and LL.M. (appearing or completed) from a recognized Indian or foreign university with a good academic record
  • At least one peer-reviewed publication in a reputed journal
  • Prior research experience in international law will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of substantive and procedural international law
  • Proficiency in English and MS Office
