About the Role

Infosys is seeking a highly experienced legal professional to join its Legal Department as Principal Legal Counsel in the Office of Integrity and Compliance. The position involves providing legal and compliance guidance across the Infosys Group and will focus on enterprise-wide compliance management, technology enablement, and integrity initiatives.

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Infosys Whistleblower Program, aligned with the seven foundational pillars of a strong corporate compliance framework, covering both global and regional scopes.
  • Conduct and oversee global investigations on diverse compliance issues, including managing remediation efforts and negotiations.
  • Contribute to compliance strategy by offering recommendations, resolving issues, identifying trends, and proposing system improvements in line with the Compliance & Integrity Plan.
  • Ensure compliance with key regulatory frameworks relevant to Infosys, such as whistleblower protection laws, anti-bribery/anti-corruption, antitrust, and data confidentiality, along with corresponding internal controls.
  • Leverage analytics and automation tools for risk assessment and mitigation (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Enhance internal reporting systems and feedback mechanisms in collaboration with the Human Resources team.
  • Design and deliver training programs and communication initiatives to strengthen the culture around the whistleblower program and corporate ethics.
  • Analyze and interpret emerging legal regulations and update internal policies accordingly.
  • Administer corporate policies proactively through regular training and communications.
  • Efficiently manage complaints, lead investigations, and implement appropriate remediation measures.

Experience Required:

12–18 years of legal and compliance experience, ideally in a corporate or multinational setting, with proven expertise in managing compliance frameworks and legal risk.
