The 1st National Moot Court Competition, 2026 is being organized by the Moot Court Committee of Meerut College. It is a national-level advocacy competition designed to simulate real court proceedings and provide students with hands-on experience in legal research, drafting, and oral arguments.
Objective:
- To develop legal research, drafting, and oral advocacy skills
- To promote analytical thinking and application of legal principles
- To provide exposure to real courtroom procedures and professional ethics
Participants must:
- Work in teams of 2–3 members
- 2 Speakers + 1 Researcher
- Submit memorials for both sides
- Participate in oral rounds and researcher’s test
- Follow prescribed dress code and competition rules

- Students enrolled in 3-year LL.B. or 5-year integrated LL.B. programmes

- Each institution may send up to 2 teams
