The M.M. Banerjee Memorial National Moot Court Competition 2025 is organized in loving memory of the Late M.M. Banerjee, an illustrious alumnus of our institution and the first Advocate General of Jharkhand. His exemplary contribution to the legal fraternity and unwavering commitment to justice have left an indelible mark on law in Jharkhand. The competition aims to uphold the spirit of advocacy and legal excellence, commemorating his valuable contribution to the judiciary of Jharkhand. It is organized in compliance with guidelines from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Bar Council of India (BCI) to promote the idea of 'Vocal For Local'. Designed to challenge participants with a complex, intellectually stimulating moot problem, the competition helps law students hone research, advocacy, and presentation skills, providing a platform for young lawyers to gain insight into real-world legal proceedings and pay tribute to a stalwart of Jharkhand’s legal fraternity.

Eligibility: All students pursuing LLB three-year or five-year courses during the current academic year
Registration Fee: Rs. 1500 per team
