The Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) is a statutory body established in 2000 to adjudicate disputes and handle appeals in the telecom, broadcasting, and airport tariff sectors. It has original and appellate jurisdiction over telecom and broadcasting disputes, while it exercises appellate jurisdiction over cyber matters. The tribunal aims to ensure the orderly growth of the telecom sector and protect the interests of service providers and consumers.
About the Internship
Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal invites application for Internship Programme from law students having interest in the field of Telecom, Broadcasting, Airport Tariff and Cyber Laws etc.
- Name of the Post: Intern
Eligibility
- Candidates with 3rd year of study (or higher) of a 5-year law programme.
- Candidates with 1st year of study (or higher) of a 3-year law programme.
- Law Graduates.
- Preference will be given to students showing keen interest in or having knowledge and understanding of Telecom, Broadcasting, and Cyber Laws etc.
Duration
Duration of the internship would be 4-12 weeks which may be extended on the basis of performance and proficiency of the Intern.
Mode
The interns will be required to physically remain present during the tenure of their internship.
Stipend
There shall be no stipend for the internship period. The interns shall not be eligible for any TA/DA allowance.
