Position Overview
We are hiring a Legal Associate who is detail-driven and passionate about the intersection of law, blockchain, and emerging technologies. The role will involve handling a wide spectrum of legal tasks including contract drafting, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, and corporate governance within the dynamic crypto and blockchain industry.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth legal research on cryptocurrency and blockchain regulations, investment and banking laws, securities frameworks, and privacy compliance.
- Interpret and apply evolving legal standards to ensure organizational compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal agreements, including service contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements.
- Prepare legal documents such as opinions, memoranda, and corporate resolutions.
- Support internal teams—product, marketing, and compliance—with legal guidance.
- Coordinate with external counsel and regulatory bodies to address legal matters and compliance issues.
- Stay current with regulatory developments in blockchain, cryptocurrency, and investment-related legislation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B or equivalent).
- Strong grasp of securities laws, privacy legislation, and crypto-specific regulations.
- Proven skills in legal analysis, research, drafting, and negotiation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively.
- Organized and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance.
- Ideally, 1+ year of experience in legal compliance in the cryptocurrency, blockchain, or financial investment sectors.
